What are people saying about Stilwell Payee Services?

“No more worry.”

Before I had a payee, I had trouble making my money last through the month. I wasn't able to pay my bills. Ever since I got a payee, I saved up for things I want like a car and other stuff. Now I can afford these things!

— A.H.

"I am treated with respect."

I have been a mentally ill for over 30 years. I am treated as a person and not an illness with my payee. As a former case manager and now a payee, Erica has always taken the time to make sure that I was satisfied with my money. She was patient with me while I was having symptoms. She understands the mental health profession and the importance of respect.

— C.M.

“Now I am sober”

I've been an addict for 15 years. When the first of the month came around, all of my money was gone. I was broke and using. I got anxious and drank to deal with it. Eventually, my money ran out.  I kept getting evicted, went without food and shampoo. The court made me get a payee. My payee helped me get a place and made sure that I have enough to eat. I never had that when I was using.

— B.A.

"I am confident in my recovery."

My payee understood how hard it was for me to accept having a payee because of my high anxiety. The payee was available at anytime to talk to me about my money. She encouraged me to continue my recovery. I now have a job and I am learning to manage my money.
